We found the dead fish on the river bank. Its stomach was bloated. My boyfriend said it had died as a result of a trauma. I tried hugging it, took photos, however, communing with it made me feel terrified.
I was afraid that death would come out of the corpse and come inside me, that I would get infected with it, that I would die tragically as well.
